Starting in summer 2025, the National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) in Taiwan will provide up to 10 scholarships annually for Penn State graduate students to engage in research and education collaboration at Taipei Tech.
Tohoku University, one of Penn State's strategic partners, recently invited Lee Kump, dean of the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences and professor of geosciences at Penn State, to visit the university in Sendai, Japan.
Alexandra Persiko, interim director of Global Partnerships, received a Fulbright IEA award in 2024, notable in its own right, but also because of her unique connection to the program through her mother, Alice Ann, who completed a Fulbright student program in Germany in 1957.
